Marshall Liger, South Carolina State Coordinator, traveled to Columbia to represent the AFA at this event. He took advantage of the opportunity to sell AFA Store merchandise to raise money for the AFA. To raise additional funds, he raffled off a copy of Parrots: A Guide to Parrots of the World by Tony Juniper and Mike Parr, which was donated by Fantastic Feathers bird store in Charleston, SC. Membership applications and other handouts about the AFA were available. Persons that joined the AFA on site were presented with 4 complimentary copies of previously issued Watchbird magazines.
